I just went to the fridge to get out some left over fried chicken for lunch and saw some sour cream. I just HAD to have some sour cream on my chicken. Could this be a craving?!?!?!?! Adam and I have been praying daily that the Lord would see fit to give us a baby. To be honest I was wondering why we were not yet prenant, we have been married for 6 months and both my sister and sister in law who is married to my brother and Adams sister were all pregnant with in 3 months of their wedding. I was starting to think maybe we were not doing something right.I am on my way to to get a pregnancy test!
Hi! I stumbled across your blog yesterday. Congratulations on your marriage! :-)
ReplyDeleteMay I give you some advice? Relax and enjoy your time now while you can! You are a very young woman in a very young marriage. Use this time to build a strong marriage that is based on your love for each other and God.
When your children are grown up and it is just you and your husband again you don't want to realize that you have become strangers and your children are the only thing you have in common.
Don't compare yourself to other couples and how quickly they concieved. You mentioned in another post about letting God open and close your womb. If you consider taking means to prevent against conceiving is taking matters into your own hands, is trying too hard to conceive what God wants? Just relax and leave it up to Him! :-)
Excellent reply from CC. You will drive yourself crazy if you don't follow her advice. I've been there. It was very difficult, and in my case there never was a pregnancy. It will happen or it won't but either way you're a wife and a woman. Enjoy each new day the Lord has made.
ReplyDeleteCC and Elizabeth, you guys are totally right. I need to take a step back and enjoy what I have been given now. I am working on doing that:)
